Besides, what is the maximum range of ultrasonic sensor?
They DO NOT measure farther than about 70 feet (21 meters). They DO NOT measure at very high repetition rates. Due to speed of sound limitations the fastest rate is 200 Hz at a max distance of about 24 inches.
Additionally, what is the range of the HC-SR04? The HC-SR04 sensor works best between 2cm – 400 cm (1" - 13ft) within a 30 degree cone, and is accurate to the nearest 0.3cm.
Similarly, what is the maximum range of ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04?
HC-SR04 Hardware Overview
| Operating Voltage | DC 5V |
|---|---|
| Max Range | 4m |
| Min Range | 2cm |
| Ranging Accuracy | 3mm |
| Measuring Angle | 15 degree |
How far can HC-SR04 measure?
According to the sensor specifications, HC-SR04 has a range of 2 to 400 cm. To measure a distance, a pulse of 10µs has to be sent to the trigger pin (at least every 60ms) and the output pulse duration need to be measured from the echo pin. This duration divided by 58 should give the value in centimetres.
