Also to know is, does MSI Optix work with G-Sync?
MSI just happens to have 18 Adaptive Sync monitors under their Optix gaming monitor range, and this update makes all but two compatible with G-SYNC. G-SYNC is an anti-tearing, anti-flickering and anti-stuttering monitor technology designed by NVIDIA.
Beside above, is the MSI Optix MAG321CQR G-Sync compatible? The MSI OPTIX MAG321CQR is not listed as an approved compatible monitor with G-SYNC by NVIDIA. However, apparently quotes this monitor works with G-SYNC which is why I bought it.
Similarly, is my MSI monitor G-Sync?
"Following Nvidia's announcement of their newest drivers, MSI monitors are effectively G-Sync compatible! This technology allows G-Sync to be used on adaptive sync monitors," MSI says. To be clear, the list is based on MSI's own internal testing, without any apparent participation from Nvidia.
Is G-Sync worth using?
Answer: G-Sync is definitely worth it if you have an NVIDIA GPU and are looking for a monitor with a high refresh rate. If you've ever thought about getting a monitor with a high refresh rate, like a 144Hz or a 240Hz one, you've probably noticed that a fair number of them come with something called G-Sync.
