It has a great pickup and still is very swift. The AC is very chilling and Ford after sails is very good. We bought a second hand Ford Ikon 1.6 Exi Nxt(Petrol) 2005 model, Which is the first car for our family. Even though it has crossed 50000 Kms, it performs well on Road.
Also question is, why is the Ikon resale value low?
Ford Resale value is poor for Petrol versions and not Diesel versions. The petrol versions are poor in mileage per litre . In case of diesel Ford,the engine 1.4 litre Durotorq is proven,has good service support and hence Ford vehicles with diesel engines especially Ford Figo have decent resale value.
