Thereof, can cows run faster than horses?
Any bovine can outrun a human, easily. And they can run about as fast as a horse, like in this video: Try chasing after a cow with a truck or a quad. Not surprised by the other answers that say bovines have been clocked at going around 20 to 30+ mph at a full gallop when they need to be at a full gallop.
Also, do cows or horses eat more? Cattle are much less picky than horses about what they eat, and they eat a lot! Cattle eat consistently for approximately 12 hours, and can eat up to 130 pounds of grass and forage per day. A typical 1,000 pound horses will eat approximately 20-25 pounds of grass per day.
Beside above, are horses related to cows?
Horses and cattle both belong to a superclass of the placental mammals known as the Laurasiatheria, but their ancestors diverged from each other more than 80 million years ago. Horses and other equids (i.e. donkeys, zebras, et cetera) are evolutionarily closer to Rhinos and Tapirs.
Can horses eat the same hay as cows?
Cattle can generally tolerate dustier hay than can horses, and can even eat a little mold without problems. However, some types of mold may cause abortion in pregnant cows. The quality of the hay you feed will also depend on whether you are feeding mature beef cattle, young calves or dairy cows.
